The Birthmark is a title sequence for a period thriller inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne's 1846 short story. The tale revolves around a scientist who becomes obsessed with removing a blemish from his wife's face, leading to her death. The narrative explores themes of obsession with flaws and the struggle to alter both the natural and human aspects of life.
IIn this video, I used representations of science ranging from abstract to figurative, with an emphasis on the stain that gradually spreads across the elements in the frames.
